“”When Night Falls on the Reeperbahn” is a somewhat glossy production that bears some of the signs of its times, the sixties. This was when spy movies and spoofs were big sellers. It was when movies turned quirky or humorous with sixties humor. This appears in several sequences here. It comes in during a mud wrestling sequence in a club featuring female wrestlers, and it appears during several fights. It’s sort of how the television Batman was done.
