This profound and disturbing Italian documentary is entirely comprised of archival film footage from London, Milan, Moscow, Vienna and Budapest of life in WWI prison camps. Some of the clips are from propaganda films from Germany and Czarist Russia. The compilers removed all original onscreen text and replaced it with title cards describing the location and the subject. The story takes place in the 1930s ~ 1940s.
