“This humorous and informative documentary traces the history of cinematic pornography back to the 1915 stag film “The Free Ride.” Sexual attitudes of society have been carefully researched and explained as films from World War up to and including the year 1970 are examined. Stripper Candy Barr is shown in the classic “Smart Alec”, and the mild peep shows of the 1940s and 1950s are examined. All events lead up to the late 1960s where censorship laws were successfully challenged in the courts. The last half hour is a shameless promotion of director Alex de Renzy’s current blue movies and adds nothing to the historical perspective of the feature. IMDb comments: A conductor has grown tired of sex, ignoring his wife played by the always beautiful Annette Haven, but his masterpiece is to be a recording of women having orgasms. He hires a sound engineer to procure them, in stereo. With $500 an orgasm at stake he takes matters into his own hands with a half dozen different women, including the wife of course, to fulfill his clients wishes. Because of the theme of the movie, the sounds are very authentic making the scenes more memorable. This movie also appears to have been filmed before all sense of style and plot went away in the adult film industry. It is interesting that according to the date of release Crystal Breeze would have been 16 during filming, but she sure doesn’t look it. A national news magazine publisher decides to do a front-page story on his daughter’s sorority. The college administration and the sorority see the chance to gain popularity for the school but are afraid that some of the girls have boyfriends that would project the “wrong” image. A decision is made to hook the girls with an alternate fraternity that has the “desired” image for the sake of the article. Predictably, the girls and their boys rebel.
