Plot Summary
Santiago Rodríguez has been an accountant for 40 years. He’s a simple man, a widower, overwhelmed by conflicts with his children, and the situation of insecurity and materialism that prevails in his country. His crisis of loneliness is exacerbated when, at the age of 65, he is forced into retirement by the company where he has worked since his youth. In one of his nostalgic walks in the park, he meets Angelina, a woman much younger than him, distinguished looking and enigmatic. They establish a relationship that renews Santiago’s enthusiasm for life. But Angelina avoids talking about her past.
