Jacques Becker – Rue de l’estrapade AKA Françoise steps out (1953)

Françoise, apparently happily married to Henri, a racing pilot, discovers that her husband has a mistress. She decides to leave the flat in a bourgeois district of Paris and rents a little room (in former servants’ quarters on the higher floor of a bourgeois building) rue de l’estrapade . She even looks for a job in a fashion showroom. But Henri wants her back.
