Two episodes. The 1st is ‘Amore impossibile’ (Impossible love). Giulio is a comic book draftsman. He is passing through a creativity depressed period. One day his editor makes him meet a blond nice girl. Immediately Giulio fall in love and starts to draw his impossible love story into a new comic book. The 2nd is ‘Quello dal basco rosso’ (the one with the red beret). Sandro, a mature man, meets one of his former girlfriend and her daughter Daniela. Daniela couldn’t have sex with her boyfriend because of a childhood remembrance. In fact she always remember her mother having sex with a man wearing a red beret. She discovers that man is Sandro, makes love with him and soon recovers from her obsession.

Best known for his seminal spaghetti westerns, Sergio Corbucci tried his hand at many genres during his long career as a director. Here, late in his career, he makes a nice entry in the commedia sexy all’italiana sub-genre.

The film exists in several versions; one made for television ran a lot longer than this feature film edit, and it played like an omnibus film.

In this theatrical version, the different vignettes are inter-cut. Some segments are naturally more funny than others, but it would be difficult to argue against the sexiness of the ladies involved, even if everything almost remains too tasteful.

Serena Grandi takes the prize for the most explicit scenes opposite Paolo Villagio; the older man is a judge on a seaside holiday, who encounters the buxom Grandi on a number of occasions in various stages of undress, and almost does not live to tell the tale.

Synopsis:
