Kunishita Hatsuko, a high school student, is killed when a falling object hits her on her way to school at a construction site. Her spirit meets the spirit of a young man named Iwai Gennosuke, who advises her to hurry up and return to her body and revive since it’s not too late. However, Hatsuko, who has discovered the comfort of being able to float freely through space and go anywhere, is reluctant to return to the earthly world. Gennosuke, who died a hundred years ago and lives in the hope that his body will be miraculously found and revived, is anxious to return Hatsuko’s spirit to her body before the funeral.
