High-school student Chiyoko is overcome with despair after losing both her mother and her pet dog. Her mother liked Fellini’s film, “La Strada”, and her efforts to watch it bring her in contact with a former fellow film studies student named Masamune. Chiyoko and Masamune go on a journey, bound for the ocean.
