A Jewish mother is having her 60th birthday and her three children, two daughters and a homosexual son, come to celebrate with her. One of the daughters is married to an orthodox Jew and lives in Israel whereas the other one still lives at home where she uses her knowledge of psychology to make poisonous comments about others. They are, however, all taken by surprise when their mother tells them that she is terminally ill with cancer.
