In 1968, Flaminio Bollini, Giuseppe D’ Agate, Dante Guardamagna and Lucio Mandarà, met to write a story between truth and magic, daily life and mystery. The starting idea was about a university professor of English literature engrossed with the translation of a diary of Lord Byron, written during a roman stay in 1817. During the translation, the university professor comes invited, right in Rome, from a mysterious painter who challenges him to find an imaginery public square.
