The innocent beauty of Kaoru, a dancer in the troupe, blended in with his sad travel feelings. Mizuhara walked shoulder to shoulder with Kaoru and whistled along with her singing. At night, the dancers were invited to banquets. Listening to the sound of the taiko drums, they were troubled by the thought that they might be a comfort to the drunken guests.
