Synopsis
Steeped in the bohemian cool of Chicago’s 1990s Black creative scene, love jones—the smart, sexy, and stylish debut feature of writer-director Theodore Witcher—is a love story for anyone who has ever wondered: How do I know when I’ve found the one? Larenz Tate and Nia Long have magnetism and chemistry to burn as the striving, artistically talented twentysomethings—he’s a poet, she’s a photographer—who spark over their love of literature and jazz, but whose mutual reluctance to commit to a relationship leaves them both navigating an emotional minefield of confusion, jealousy, and regrets. Summary
Man Soo is a train conductor. Every day he performs the same old routines, and gradually his days begin to feel as uneventful and predictable as the ongoing rotation of the wheels on his train.

One day, his train gets caught in a messy accident involving a passenger’s suicide, and he is forced to take leave from work. He gets on the last train.

Hanna s an attractive college instructor who is having an affair with a married professor. Her world is turned upside down when his wife confronts her. Abandoned and betrayed by her lover, Hanna is forced to face her own demons. She quits her job, and hops onto the last train.

In this breezy domestic comedy and Iranian box office smash, Donya (Hediyeh Tehrani) returns from America to discover that it is not easy to find a place to live in modern-day Tehran. Plot Summary
Desiderium lyrically charts the hapless loves of three brothers: Majid, they young handicapped brother with a deformed head falls in love with Aghdas, a prostitute hired by his eldest brother Habib to entertain him, not knowing the truth about her profession. Karim, the middle brother is so infatuated with a quail that he almost completely ignores his wife and her emotions. Habib himself is in love with Foroogh, a tailor lady who lives with them, while his sense of responsibility about Majid keeps him from requiting her affections.

Overview
Sooteh-Delan AKA Desiderium (an ardent desire or longing, especially a feeling of loss or grief for something lost) was made in 1978 by director Ali Hatami. Though he failed to break out into the international circuit, Hatami is considered an important Iranian director and this film in particular found popular success domestically. It was rated the #4 Iranian film in Film magazine’s 2009 poll of 92 Iranian critics. The film stars Behrouz Vossoughi, one Iran’s most beloved actors.
