The film is a social drama set in a fishing village near Ban Phe, Rayong. The protagonist, Muek (Pichai Wasanasong), a young fisherman, falls in love with Mukda (Khaisi Chumasarthun). However, she attracts the attention of Jamleng, a pearl trader. Jamleng deceives Mukda, feigning romantic interest, and tricks her into giving him a pearl gifted by Muek—intending to swap it with a fake to bestow upon another woman, Phakakaew.
