Yes it is. (a cult classic) Sadly this movie was a critical & commercial failure, and is often regarded as a low budget sci-fi fantasy film. It was NOT low budget. The $30 million budget was the same size as Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, which was filmed around the same time as Krull. I thought the story was a bit generic, but enjoyable. The acting was very good, (early roles for Liam Neeson, Robbie Coltrane, & Alun Armstrong) the film sets were amazing & special effects were very good. My uncle took my cousin & I to see this at the theater when we where kids. Krull is on my rotation list & I usually watch once every year or 2.
